About Goalball

Goalball is a fast-paced and fun team sport designed for but not exclusive to blind and visually impaired athletes. It can be played by men, women and youth. Goalball is played internationally and has been an official part of the Paralympic Games since 1980.

Practice time and location

Our Goalball season runs from September through April for our Men and Women’s Senior teams. Practice is held at the George Dixon Recreation Centre on 2502 Brunswick Street or 2501 Gottingen Street. Practice times are:

  • Saturdays – 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
  • Sundays – 5 pm to 9 pm

We encourage you to learn more about the sport of Goalball. You can come out, participate and watch the sport at it’s finest… in person!

And most of all, volunteers are always welcome!
