Getting Involved as a Volunteer...

Blind Sports Nova Scotia values the hard work and determination of our volunteers! Each year, our volunteers are awarded a "Certificate of Appreciation" for their hard work at our Annual General Meeting (AGM).

There are many ways you can be involved with Blind Sports Nova Scotia…

  • We support University students with opportunities for practicum hours in working with our athletes who are blind and visually impaired;
  • We encourage everyone who is looking for coaching opportunities to get involved with our programs, recreational or competitive;
  • We encourage everyone who wishes to support our members in helping set-up fund raisers, to be a guide or to be a volunteer driver to get involved in our events;
  • We encourages friends and family members to become involved in sport and recreational events and to come out and support our athletes.

If you are interested in volunteering a few hours of your day or if you would like to become a full-time volunteer, please send an e-mail to info@blindsportsnovascotia.ca
