{"id":1584,"date":"2025-01-30T18:04:20","date_gmt":"2025-01-30T18:04:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.blindsportsnovascotia.ca\/?p=1584"},"modified":"2025-01-30T18:04:20","modified_gmt":"2025-01-30T18:04:20","slug":"nova-scotia-earns-two-bronze-medals-at-montreal-open-goalball-tournament","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.blindsportsnovascotia.ca\/?p=1584","title":{"rendered":"Nova Scotia earns two bronze medals at Montreal Open Goalball Tournament"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Nova Scotia just got a little more bronzed!<\/h2>\n<p><strong> Congratulations to the Nova Scotia A women&#8217;s goalball team and the Nova Scotia men&#8217;s goalball team for earning bronze last weekend, at the 23rd Montreal Open Goalball tournament<\/strong> hosted by <span class=\"xv78j7m\" spellcheck=\"false\">Association sportive des aveugles du Qu\u00e9bec &#8211; ASAQ<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>At just 15 years old, Harry Nickerson of Nova Scotia won the tournament top scorer award, with 39 goals!<\/p>\n<p>For the NS A women, this is their second year in a row securing a medal, winning silver in 2024. This marks three years in a row the NS men&#8217;s team have brought a medal home from the Montreal Open.
