We’re very proud of our girls Junior Goalball team finishing 5th in their first Junior Nationals tournament in Brantford, Ontario!
Nova Scotia’s first ever Junior Goalball team is in their first year of competition, only forming this past fall and scored several goals against the top Alberta and British Columbia teams!

The Nova Scotia Men’s team dominates in convincing fashion to capture Gold at the Montreal Open Goalball tournament, January 25th and 26th, 2014 in Montreal Quebec. The team disappointed all challengers by not allowing a single goal to be scored against them during the tournament! We stopped counting but are told the final tally was 30 – 0 for team Nova Scotia! Great job boys!

The Nova Scotia Men’s team captured 1st place and the Gold medal at the 30th Annual USABA Midwest Regional Goalball Tournament in Warren, Michigan this past weekend. They defeated Florida 5 – 1 in the final. (watch the game on YouTube.)
The Women’s team also had a phenomenal weekend winning their first two games ever in in tournament competition!
